How the 2/3 system works

Play in cycles of 37 spins. For 28 spins, only watch and note the numbers that come out. If 21 different numbers or fewer came out, bet 1 unit on 16 numbers that have not come out yet, from the 29th spin to the 37th, and stop at the first win. If more than 21 came out, wait for the next cycle.

A win pays 36 for the 16 units bet, a profit of 20. On this table the strategy bets on the 16 lowest numbers not seen yet.

Where two thirds comes from, and where it stops

In 37 spins, 23.6 different numbers come out on average, close to two thirds of 37. After 28 spins, 83% of cycles have 21 numbers or fewer, so the signal comes often.

But the next spin does not know which numbers came out: 16 numbers have exactly 16 chances in 37, 43.2%, seen or not. Nine losses in a row happen in 0.61% of cycles and cost 144 units. In the tester, with 5 per unit, 59% of sessions end in profit and the average session loses 8, because the system bets on few spins.

No. Each spin is independent: a number that has not come out in 28 spins has the same 1 chance in 37 as any other.

Why does the system lose so little in the tester?

It bets on 9 spins at most per cycle of 37, and only when the signal comes. It loses less because it bets less, at the same 2.70% edge.
