How the Relaxed system works

Two dozens cover 24 numbers. With 1 unit on each, a win pays 3 for the 2 you bet, a profit of 1; a loss costs 2. The two dozens are the ones that came out on the last two spins; if the same dozen came out three times in a row, you bet on the other two.

After a loss, both stakes double; after a win, they go back to 1 unit.

It caps the wins, not the losses

Only the first bet of a cycle makes money. If it loses (−2), the doubled bet wins 2 and the cycle ends at 0. After two losses (−6), the next win brings back 4: the cycle ends at −2. After three, at −6. The longer the cycle, the bigger its loss, even when it ends with a win.

In the tester, with 1,000 to start, 5 per unit and 100 spins, 55% of sessions end in profit, 4% run out of money, and the average session loses 50.
