Write a list, here 1-2-3-4. Bet the sum of the first and last numbers: 5 units on an even-money chance. If you win, cross both out and bet the new first plus last. If you lose, add the amount you lost at the end of the list.
When the list is empty you have won its total, 10 units, and you start again. Since a win removes two numbers and a loss adds only one, you can clear a list while losing more spins than you win.
The risk
During a long losing phase, the list grows and so do the bets, fast. The tester shows it clearly: with 1,000 to start, a 5 base bet and 100 spins, many sessions end up but a large share run dry. Compare it with Fibonacci on the same settings.
Test it on 2,000 sessions
Fixed layout: 14 units on 19-36, 5 on the 13-18 six line, 1 on zero.

One session, spin by spin
Every session is played with the same random draw as the table above. Nothing here is an estimate.
Labouchère strategy: questions
Can I choose another list?
Yes. A longer list or bigger numbers raise the target of each cycle and the bets that go with it. The page uses 1-2-3-4, the most common one.
