How the Paroli works

Bet one unit on an even-money chance. After a win, let it ride and double: 1, then 2, then 4. After three wins in a row, collect your 7 units profit and start again at one. After any loss, go back to one unit.

Whatever the moment you lose, the cycle costs exactly one unit, because the bet you lose is paid by the previous wins. Three reds in a row come up 11.5% of the time on a European wheel.

What the tester shows

The Paroli almost never empties a bankroll: losses are one unit per cycle. In exchange, fewer sessions end up than with the martingale. It is a strategy for playing long with little at stake.
